Your thoughts on the Nintendo 3DS

So, what do you think? Do you believe it does what's intended? Do you think it'll crash and burn? Will you get it when it comes out? Are you crazy over Kid Icarus like I am right now? Discuss.

ok icarus is amazing. but the 3ds is not gonna do what it is inteded very well plus if it does stupid nintendo will come out with a new dang model for it 2 months after its first release. NINTENDO!! JUST PERFECT IT BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT. AT LEAST TRY!!

I saw something about it, it looks cool, but I'll stick with the consoles for now. Other wise I think it will not grow as much as they intended, but it won't crash and burn as well.

idk i think it might crash and burn and be bugged and glitched up at least for the first model.

You realize for a second model to come out like 2 months after the 3DS's initial release, they'd need to be working on both at the same time, right?

Which means they'd either both suck or both be perfect. Makes no sense.

Honestly, I think the 3DS will own everything. Nintendo has definitely dominated the handheld market, and with just that in mind, Sony and Microsoft will never sell them out.

On top of that, Nintendo has a great lineup for the 3DS. Kingdom Hearts 3DS, Metal Gear Solid 3 for 3DS, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Paper Mario, Nintendogs + Cats, and even Steel Diver! ...Wait, what?

Also, has anyone seen the graphics on this thing? Well, here you go, along with what is the current design for the 3DS.

Those graphics are at least PS2 and Wii level, and they could be roughly twice as good if they skipped the 3D thing. It just goes to show how much work Nintendo has put into the 3DS.

And what other portable console have you been able to use with more than one person at a time? ._.

OMG THOSE GRAPHICS ARE SO MUCH WIN.

Also, yeah, there's no portable console that allows you to play with more than one person... with the exception of a few mini-games I've seen that use only one button and allow two people to hold the same DS, a la the Ping Pong souvenir game in WarioWare: Twisted.
